Do you need to escape to the lake? We have a great log home which is nicely landscaped and has a gentle slope to the water. The main level has an open floor plan with a well-equipped kitchen and a breakfast bar that joins the dining area and continues into a very comfortable living room. The owners have provided an extended cable TV package for your enjoyment as well as a DVD player. You will find the master bedroom and bath are conveniently located on this level. The covered upper deck is a wonderful place to fire up the gas grill to prepare a fabulous outdoor meal. Or, ease into a patio chair, put your feet up, and take pleasure in the tranquil atmosphere of the lake. Two bedrooms and a bath, as well as a small family room with TV/VCR are on the lower level. Sliding glass doors open onto the patio which leads to the dock. The large stationary dock provides plenty of room for fishing or sunbathing and there is an equally nice floater where the boat may be docked. Although a diving board is attached to the stationary dock, the owners DO NOT advise diving into unfamiliar water. We are certain that you will have plenty of fun swimming, fishing, boating, and exploring beautiful Smith Mountain Lake!
